section seven of this will, as if the same were here
exactly repeated, only substituting the name of my
Grandson James Gibbs Haile, for that of my son
James, and the name of the latter for that of
the former wherever they occur in said section
Section 10:  The three hundred thousand dollars
in securities mentioned in section seven, eight &
nine hereof are to be taken from the best securities
of my estate (after complying with the require-
ment of section five) and divided so as to make
the value of each separate fund of one hundred
thousand dollars, as nearly exactly equal as possible
and to that end I desire that so far as possible my
Executors may find it practicable, each set of se-
curities (being bonds, or stocks of the same place or
Corporation) be divided among the three funds one-
third to each
Section 11:  I hereby give to and confer upon "The
Farmers Loan and Trust Company, trustee as herein-
after provided in section twenty four, and its sucessors
in the trust as full powers in all respects for the
collection and sale, investments and reinvestment of
all the securities and funds held or to be held in
trust by virtue of the provisions of this will, and
so long as the same shall continue to be held in
trust, as have been hereinbefore given to the trustees
in section fifth hereof. And I recommend as suitable
for such reinvestment, when necessary, first class
railway first mortgage bonds and bonds of any
State or City, where no repudiation has been made
and I desire in all cases that the security and safe-
ty of the fund be more regarded than the rate of
interest.
Section 12:  One half the assets of Gibbs & Co
as they stood on the 1st day of November 1880
belong absolutely to my son George, and I so
declare and will, and the other half are mine
My son George desires to retain the whole as-
sets for use in his business, and desiring to accom-
modate him, I now give and bequeath my entire
interest in the same to him absolutely. But in
simple Justice to my son James, I now direct
that the value of my interest in said assets
