Section 28: I hereby order and direct that my last
Will and all my Codocils I may hereafter add thereto be
proved and administered from either Charleston or Marion
Counties, as my Executors may find most convenient
and practicable
Section 29:  Should there be no living descendant of mine
to hold and enjoy my estate, as hereinbefore limited and
appointed in sections refering to the same as laying as lay-
ing down the limitations and rules for any property within
the period allowed by law for the limitation of estates, as
hereinafter declared, then, and in that case, I hereby Will
and declare that my said estate shall go and be divided as follows:
  First: To the Protestant Episcopal Church, Know as
Grace Church, of Charleston S.C. five thousand dollars
to be invested and the income thereof used for and in
aid of the meritorious poor of the congregation.
  Second: To the Protestant Episcopal Church, Known as
St. Pauls, of Charleston, S.C. five thousand dollars to ne
invested, and the income thereof used for the benefit
and in aid of the meritorious poor of the congregation.
  Third: To Dr. Henry P. Gibbs, son of my uncle, Reeve
Gibbs, five thousand dollars.
  Fourth: To Mr John Haile, husband of my late beloved
daughter, Amelia, Fifty Thousand dollars
  Fifth:  To the Charleston Orphan House, ten thousand
dollars,
  Sixth:  To J.S. Wilson, of Johns Island, S.C. five thousand
dollars
  Seventh:  To Charles O. Witte, Henry A.M. Smith, and
such person as may at the time be Mayor of the City
of Charleston, seventy five thousand dollars, to have and
to hold the same in trust, for the erection and endow-
ment of an Art Galery and Ladies Library in Charles-
ton, and I empower said trustees to provide as they see
fit and practicable for the future regulation and perpetua-
tion of the same. Should any arrangement be hereafter
made during my lifetime, whereby a building shall
be erected on the lot on the northeast corner of Meeting
(Street) and George Street by the Art Union Association
for its purposes, then I direct the said seventy five
thousand dollars to be by said trustees transfered to
said Association under such agreement for its future
