soon after my decease as shall by her be found convenient
I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Georgia
E. Bates, all my household, furniture, my two horses and two
Vehickels, and all the farming implements belonging on
my plantation as hereinafter described to have and to
hold the same to her and her Executors, Administrators
and assigns forever. I also give to her the use, improve-
ments and income of my dwelling house and of all
out houses, land and its appurtenances, situated in
the State and County aforesaid, to wit: The North east quarter
of section eleven (11) in Township twelve (12) south Range
twenty two (22) east. And the North east quarter of the
North west quarter of section twelve (12) in township
twelve (12) south range twenty two (22) east, and the
Southwest quarter of the south east quarter of section
two (2) in Township twelve (12) south of Range
twenty two (22) east
To have and to hold the same to her for and during
her natural life, or as she may desire to dispose of at her
will and pleasure, giving her all the profits, income and
advantage that may result therefrom during her natural
life, or as she may deem proper until Mumford W.E. Bates
our youngest heir becomes of Twenty one years old (of age) or
after her decease After which term of years or after her
decease, I request that all the above described real estate or
the proceeds thereof be honestly and equally divided among
my then living heirs.
And lastly I do nominate and appoint my beloved
wife Georgia E. Bates to be the Executrix of my Last Will
and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said John J. Bates
have to this my last Will and Testament consisting of one
sheet of paper subscribed my name and affixed my seal
on this 17th day of July, in the year of our Lord One thousand
eight hundred and ninety three. his
