} In the County Court of Alachua County
to the Honorable H.G. Mason Judge of said Court,
the petition of Chris Matherson respectfully showeth
that he is a resident of Alachua County, State of Florida
that on the 19th day of March AD 1903 in said
Alachua County departed this life at Jonesville leaving a last
Will and testament, duly signed, and attested, as your
petitioner believes which he now presents to your honor for
probate. That said testator in said will nominated
your petitioner Chris Matherson, executor thereof.
The said deceased left property and effects, as
follows real and Personal. The said deceased left him
surviving One daughter, and several grand children his
only heirs at law. That your petitioner resides
and he is willing to accept and undertake the trust
Confided to him in said will, wherefore, your petitioner prays
that the said Will may be admitted to probate, and letters
testamentary thereon may be issued to Chris Matherson
after proper hearing, and proof, thereof and that
the other orders necessary may be made.

} Chris Matherson being duly sworn,
says that the following peti by him subscribed is
true.
Sworn to and subscribed before me this 13th day of
April AD 1903

Personally appeared before me H.G. Mason
County Judge for the County aforesaid J.D. Matheson the
subscribing witness to the foregoing paper in writing, who
being duly sworn, declares, and says that, Arthur Miles
did, in his presence, sign seal, and published the foregoing
paper writing as, and for his last Will and Testament
and that he the said Witness, signed the same as a subscribing
Witness at the special request of the said testator; and
that the said testator signed said paper writing -
