The Last Will, and Testament of Samuel Y. Finley
State of Florida }
Alachua County }
I Samuel Y. Finley of the said State
and County being in good health, and of sound mind
and disposing memory, and in the fear, and reverence
of God, with a due sense of His loving kindness, and
tender mercy, and with my heart full of love for my
wife, and Children - do hereby make and declare this
my first, and only and last Will and Testament writen by
myself of my own free will and accord, uninfluenced
by any person.
My Will is as follows: Viz;
Item one It is my will that all of my Just debts be paid
of I am indebted at the time of my death, shall
be paid by Executrix herein after named out of such
property, money or Effects which I may own or be
possed of at the time of my death, according to the best
Judgment, and discretion of my said Executrix.
And to this End, she is hereby authorized, and empowered
to mortgage or sell any personal or real property
which I may own at the time of my death Either for
her own personal convenience or the payment of my
debts according to her own discretion and without any
order of any Court.
Item two I hereby will, and bequeath, and divise unto my beloved
wife Julia D. Finley all my property real, and personal
Estate which I may own or be seized with or possessed
of at the time of my death wherever it may be found
or be situated.
To have and to hold unto her in her own absolute
unqualified, and fee simple right, and title to be by
her enjoyed and disposed of according to her own
free will, and discretion subject to the following
request.
Item 3. It is my will and I hereby request my beloved wife
Julia D. Finley to give to and bestow upon our
four daughters respectively without favor or discrim-
ination such portions of real Estate or personal
property money or effects as in her judgment
she may think just and proper it being my
desire that my said children shall share
