to be burried with little expense or ostentation, by my
Executors hereinafter named
And as to my worldly, estate, and all the prop-
erty, real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized
and possessed, or to which I shall (be) entitled at the
time of my decease, I devise bequeath and dispose of in
the following manner, to wit:
First: My Will is, that all my just debts and funeral
charges shall, by my Executors, hereinafter named, be paid
out of my estate, as soon after my decease as shall by
them be found convenient
Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved
wife Mary L. Stephens, all my horses, farming implements
household and Kitchen furniture, money and proceeds
of certain Real Estate which is hereinafter directed to
be sold by my Executors, and also all the rents and
proffits and issues of the homestead where we now
live, consisting of six acres, and one half of the
proceeds, rents and profits of the 720 acre tract of land
of J.K. Stephens and C.W. Stephens, adjoining the home-
stead, to have and to hold and use the same for
the term of her natural life after which divided
among my heirs as hereinafter provided
Third: I give, devise and bequeath to my son C.W.
undivided
Stephens, a one half^interest in and to six hundred and fifteen
acres of land, described as south west quarter Sec 26 Tp 7
S Range 18 E Also south east quarter Sec 27, 7, S R 18 E
also all the east half of sec 34, Tp 7, S R 19 east except
twenty acres off the west side of the west half of the south
east quarter of said section said land to decend to him
upon his paying to my daughter, Lelah F. Godwin the sum
of Five hundred Dollars, and upon his making to my
daughter Beulah E. Dukes a good and sufficient deed for
for his one half undivided interest in and to twenty
acres of land on the west side of the south east quarter
and the east half of the soth west quarter Sec 34, Tp 7, S
R 18 E Provided that this clause shall not take effect
until after the death of my beloved wife Mary L. Stephens
Fourth: I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter,
Beulah E. Dukes, all the Kitchen and Dining Room fur-
nature, sugar Mill and two Sugar Kettles and one Breech
loading Shot Gun after the death of my beloved wife
