James K. Stephens
to my daughter, Beulah Dukes, after the death of my
beloved wife, the following real estate, to wit: twenty acres
of land in the Western part of the west half of the
south east, quarter of section 34 Tp 7, S R 18 E also the
east half of the south west quarter of sec 34 Tp 7, S R
18 E Also six acres lying in the south west corner of
of the south east quarter of the North west quarter of being
the homestead
Fifth:  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter
Lelah F. Godwin the sum of Five hundred dollars in
money, to be paid her by my son C.W. Stephens within
two months after the death of my beloved wife Mary
L. Stephens
Sixth: I have given and deeded to my sons J.W.
Stephens and S.B. Stephens, real estate of the value of
five hundred dollars each and it is my Will that 
the property hereinbefore willed to my other children shall
make their shares equal to them
    After the death of my beloved wife, it is my
Will that all the property of which I shall die seized
and possessed, or of which I shall be entitled, shall by
my Executors (be) sold and divided among my children
share and share alike, provided that if any of my
Children shall be indebted to my estate he shall not
recieve any portion of my estate until such indebt-
edness is paid.
     I do nominate and appoint my son C.W. Stephens
and J.E. Haynesworth as Executors of this my Last
Will and Testament and ask that they may be ex-
empt from giving bond,
     In testimony whereof I, the said John K.
Stephens have to this My Last Will and Testament
contained on three sheets of paper, subscribed my name
and affixed my seal this the 19" day of April, AD

     presence of us, who, at his request, and in his presence, and in
     the presence of each other have subscribed our names as
