      Sussex County Surrogates Office

In the Matter of the Probate of }
the Last Will and Testament     }
of Mary U. Pratt                } 
                                 Be it remembered that on
the second day of April, AD 1904 the Executrix named
in the Last Will and Testament of Mary U. Pratt of the town
of Newton in the County of Sussex, deceased appeared before
the Surrogate of the County of Sussex, and made application
to have the said Will proved, and on such application said
Surrogate adjudged the said Will to be a valid Will, and the
the proof thereof to be sufficient, which said last Will and
Testament and the proof thereof, are as follows, that is to say,

         --- In the Name of God: Amen =

  I, Mary U. Pratt of the City of Perty Amboy, in the County
of Middlesex, and State of New Jersey, being of sound mind and
disposing mind and memory, and calling to mind the
frailty and uncertainty of human life, do make, publish and
declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner following
that is to say
First: - I desire to be buried by the side of my husband
in the Cemetary of Portsmouth, Ohio,
Second: - I desire that all my just debts and funeral
expenses shall be paid as soon as they conveniently may be
paid after my decease,
Third: - I give and bequeath to Miss Mary E. Comstock
the sum of five hundred dollars in trust for my brother,
Philander A. Urmston, of Wapello, Louisa Co Iowa, Said sum
to be invested by her, and the interest thereof to be paid to my
brother during his natural life, I desire her to use such part
of the principal as may be necessary for the payment of
nurses and Physicians bills and funeral expenses of my said
brother, and for the purchase of a stone to be placed at his
grave, should anything remain after said payments, I give
and bequeath the same to the said Mary E. Comstock, absolutely
after the death of my said brother, I also give and bequeath
to my said brother absolutely, two shares in the building and
loan Association of Oxford, Butler Co Ohio
Fourth: - I give and bequeath to Mrs Laura Goodrich French
