M. Comstock of New York City, the Oil Painting of my Uncle
D.A. Comstock, now in a square box in the Attic of the Cottage
mentioned in the thirteenth Paragraph of this Will,
Sixteenth: - I give and bequeath to my Cousin Miss Mary
E. Comstock of Danbury Conn the two oil Paintings, portraits,
of my grandfather and grand mother, and the portrait of my
husband in a white frame now in said Cottage last mentioned,
Seventeenth:- I give and bequeath to my cousin Mrs A.N. Taylor
of Nicetown Lane, Frankford, Philadelphia, the dressing case
sometimes called a "showing glass" which belonged to my father
and which stands on the upper shelf of the desk in room
No 24 of the Westminister at Perth Amboy New Jersey
Eighteenth:- I give and bequeath to Miss A.J. Williamson
the Portrait of Rev H.G. Mendenhall, DD in the gilt frame
hanging at the right of the Desk in room No 24, of the
Westminister at Perth Amboy, New Jersey, together with the Books,
containing the manuscript copies of the sermons of said Rev-
H.G. Mendenhall, DD
Nineteenth:- I give and bequeath to Mrs Charlotte L.
Cromack the picture, "Painting Cupids Portrait", and the narrow
plain ring which I now wear on my left hand -
Twentieth:- I give and bequeath to Mr J.W. VanEmon my
large upholstered chair in token of my appreciation of his
invaluable kindness to me.
Twenty first:- I give and bequeath to David Perkins Pratt
the English Lever Gold Watch which my husband left to me
by his Will in the year 1886,
Twenty second:- I give and bequeath my black Satin
dress to Miss Mary E. Critchlow,
Twenty third:- All other articles of wearing apparel belonging
to me, except such as Mrs Laura G. French or Miss Mary
E. Critchlow may choose for themselves and which I hereby
give to them, I give and bequeath to Miss Julia A. Stone,
of Newton, Jasper County, Iowa,
Twenty fourth:- All the rest, residue and remainder of
my property I give devise and bequeath to Miss Mary E.
Comstock:
Twenty fifth:- I direct my Executrix hereinafter named
to burn, unread by any person, my manuscripts not herein
bequeathed, also my letters and memoranda, except evidences
of indebtedness,
Twenty sixth:- I make, constitute and appoint Mrs
Laura Goodrich French, Executrix of this my Last,
