To H.B. Phillips, Esquire, County Judge in and for the
Commission County of Duval and State of Florida.
The annexed Last Will and Testament of the late Ransom
D. Trickey, deceased, having been duly filed in the County Judge
Court of Alachua County, Florida for the Probate thereof, and it
appearing that the subscribing witnesses to said Will are non-
residents of the County of Alachua, and are residents of the
County of Duval, residing in the City of Jacksonville, in
said County, and reposing especial trust and confidence
in the care, circumspection and integrity of you the said
H.B. Philips, County Judge, as aforesaid Now Therefore
be it Known, that I, H.G. Mason, County Judge and Judge
of Probate in and for the County of Alachua and State of
Florida, in pursuance of the power and authority vested
in me by the laws of this State, and every other power
authorize and
thereunto enabling: do hereby^grant and confirm unto you
the said H.B. Philips, County Judge as aforesaid, full power
and authority under this Commissioner to administer the
oaths and take the testimony of D.H. Doig, I.A. Zacharias and
Steven E. Foster, or either of them, as the sufficiency of the
law requires, touching and in proof of the execution of
the said Last Will and Testament of the said Ransom D.
Trickey, according to the form and requirements of the
laws of said State, in such cases made and provided
And that upon the execution of this Commission, you
forthwith return the same, together with the said Last
Will [and Testament} to this Court, under your hand and
seal, as the law requires
