year during the remainder of her lifetime by
quarterly instalments And I direct that the
foregoing annuities in favor of my wife shall
be a first charge on my Estate and shall be
by preference before any of the legacies herein-
after bequeathed
Third I give and bequeath to the St Andrews
Home Montreal, the sum of two hundred and fifty
dollars and to the Verdun Hospital for the Insane
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars,
Fourth -- I give and bequeath to my niece
Margaret Amelia Robertson, daughter of my late
brother the late John Robertson the sum of
one hundred dollars per annum during the
remainder of his lifetime to be paid to her
by quarterly installments, on her own receipt
independent of any husband whom she may
marry and as an alimentary provision in-
capable of seizing for her debts or for those
of her husband or of being assigned or being
pledged in any way,
Fifth --- I give and bequeath to my
nephews James Robertson and George Robertson
sons of my said late brother John Robertson the
sum of two hundred and fifty dollars each to
Bethia Robertson daughter of said John
Robertson and wife of Charles Grose four
hundred and fifty dollars and to each of the
other children of my said late brother except
Margaret Ainslee Robertson above named, the
sum of two hundred dollars,
Sixth Whereas I am now paying the widow
of my late brother John Robertson the sum of
Twenty five dollars per month in lieu of a
Royalty for the use of a certain Patent for covering
cable I desire and direct that the said sum
of money or Royalty shall continue to be paid
to her as heretofore by the James Robertson
Company (Limited) at the upon which she is
at present receiving Interest at the rate of
eight per centum per annum by monthly
installments I desire and direct until the
expiration of said patent
