James Robertson
On This Twenty fourth day of March one thousand
eight hundred and ninety nine
Before Robert A. Dunton and Charles Cushing
the undersigned Notaries Public for the Province of
Quebec residing and practicing in the City
of Montreal
=Codicil= Appeared James Robertson of the said
City of Montreal Manufacturer and President
of the James Robertson Company Limited,
Who being of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding requested us the
said Notaries Public to write down and recieve in
due form of law a first Codicil to his Last
Will which was received before R.A. Dunton
the undersigned and his Colleague Notaries
the tenth of September eighteen hundred and
ninety four which Codicil the said James
Robertson declared as follows,
Whereas in my said last will I have
nominated and appointed as one of my
Trustees and Executors Alexander A. McMichael of
the City of Toronto in the Province of Ontario,
And whereas it is my desire to replace the
said Alexander A. McMichael and to substitute
for him and in his stead my son Charles
Miller Robertson
I therefore by this Codicil cancel the ap-
pointment of Alexander A. McMichael as one of
the Trustees and Executors of my said Will
and in his place and stead I nominate and
appoint my son the said Charles Millar Robertson
to be an Executor and Trustee of my said will
Jointly with my other Executors therein named
hereby clothing the said Charles Millar Robertson
with and conferring upon him all the rights
powers authorities and duties conferred and
imposed upon the Trustees and Executors
named in my said Will,
I further declare it to be my desire and
wish that in the event of a difference of
opinion among my Executors and Trustees
that they shall consult the said Alexander
A. McMichael and with his assistance reconcile
