In the name of God, Amen, I John K. Stephens
of Alachua, County of Alachua and State of Florida
being in good bodily health, and and of sound
and disposing mind and memory, calling to mind
the frailty and uncertainty of human life, and being
desirous of settling my worldly affairs, and
directing how the estates with which it has pleased
God to bless me, shall be disposed of after my decease
while I have strength and capacity so to do
do make and publish this my last will and
testament, hereby revoking and making null
and void all other last wills and by me
heretofore made, And first I commend my
immortal being to him who gave it, and
my body to the earth, to be buried with little
expense or ostentation by my Executors here-
inafter named,
And as to my worldly estate and all the property
real and personal, or mixed of which I shal die
seized and posessed, or to which I shall be entitled
at the time of my decease, I devise bequeath and
dispose of in the manner following to wit -
First my will is that all my just debts and funeral
charges shall, by my Executors hereinafter named, be
paid out of my estate, as soon there after my
decease as shall by them be found convenient.
Second - I give, devise and bequeath to my
beloved wife, Mary L. Stephens all my horses, farming
implements household and Kitchen furniture money
and proceeds of certain real estate which is hereinafter
directed to be sold by my Executors and also all
the rents and profits and issues of the household
where we now live consisting of six Acres and one
half of proceeds and profits of the 720 Acre tract of
land J.K. Stephens and C.W. Stephens adjoining the
homestead to have and to hold and use the
same for the term of her natural life after which
divided among my heirs as hereinafter provided,
-Third - I give devise and bequeath to my
son C.W. Stephens a one half undivided interest
in and to six hundred and fifteen acres of land
described as South -West quarter Sec 26 Tp 7 S Range
