I, Duncan U. Hazzard, Clerk of the Court of
Probate of the City of Newport, duly elected and sworn
hereby certify that Jeremiah P. Mahoney is the sole Judge
of said Court, duly elected, sworn and qualified, and that the
signature to the certificate hereon is the proper handwriting
of said Jeremiah P. Mahoney, and that the attestation
of said Jeremiah P. Mahoney is in due form,

To all people to whom these presents shall come;
Be it Known that I, Daniel B. Fitts was residing
in the City and County of Newport, in the State of Rhode
Island, do hereby make, ordain and declare my Last
Will and Testament to be as follows: to wit:-
First: I order my debts if any and my funeral
expenses, to be paid from my estate: and I direct that
my remains shall be interred beside those of my late
beloved wife in the island Cemetary in Newport, and
and that memorial stones be erected to mark my
grave similar to those erected at the grave of my
said Wife.
Secondly: I give and bequeath to my brother
Abraham Fitts, should he survive me, the sum of
two Thousand Dollars.
Thirdly: I give and bequeath to my brother John
M. Fitts, should he survive me the sum of one thousand
dollars.
Fourthly: To my present beloved wife, sister of my
said late wife, Susan E. Fitts, I give and bequeath
the sum of One Thousand Dollars.
