Will of F.S. Roux
I Fredrick S. Roux considering the uncertainty of this
mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory
do make and publish this my last will and
Testament in manner and form, following (that is to
say);
Item 1st
I, give and bequeath to my eldest son Louis Roux one
hundred feet square in the South west corner of Block
(7) in the town of Gainesville, together with the shop
tools and material which shops are located on the
above described land.
Item 2nd
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Lucenda
E. Roux my sons Louis, Albert, Frank and Oliver
Roux and to my two daughters Sallie and Nellie Roux
share and share alike, all the rest-and residue
of my real and personal property, saving and excepting
Insurance Policies hereinafter bequeathed.
Item 3rd
It is my will that all of my just debts and funeral
expenses be paid before a decision is had for any of
my effects.
Item 4th
It is my will and desire that my Executors hereinafter
named shall collect and use to the best advantage my
two Insurance Policies for the sole use and benefit
of my two beloved daughters, Sallie and Nellie Roux
share and share alike, which said policies aggr
gate the amount of Three Thousand (3000) Dollars
Item 5th
I do hereby make ordain and appoint my beloved
son Louis Roux Executor of this my last Will & Testament
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal the 18th day of August in the year of our Lord
