In Her Majest's Court of Probate.
I, WILLIAM FREDERICK LAWTON
of Wick Hill in the County of Gloucester Esquire hereby revoke all
wills codicils and other testamentary dispositions heretofore made
by me and declare this to be my last will and testament I bequeath
to my dear wife Agnes all my watches jewels ornaments of the person
and wearing apparel and all my plate plated articles furniture linen
glass china pictures prints statuary musical instruments books and
other articles of household use or ornament horses carriages saddlery
harness and stable furniture live and dead stock tools implements and
utensils and wines liquors and household stores and provisions I be-
queath to my said wife the sum of One thousand five hundred pounds to
be paid to her within one calendar month after my death for her imme-
diate use and also the further sum of Ten thousand pounds to be paid
at the usual period by law fixed for the payment of legacies and I
declare that the said two several legacies shall be in addition to
and not in substitution for any other provision made for my said wife
either by this my will or any codicil hereto or my Marriage Settle-
ment nor shall such legacies or either of them be considered conting-
ent on her acceptance of the office of Trustee and Executrix of this
my will I bequeath to each of my trustees and Executors hereinafter
named other than my said wife the sum of Five hundred pounds in case
he shall undertake the Trusteeship and Executorship hereof I devise
all my estate at Wyck Hill aforesaid and all other the Manors messu-
ages lands tenements and hereditaments and real estate of every tenure
(including chattels real) of or to which I shall at my death be seized
possessed or entitled or over which I shall at my death have a general
power of appointment or disposition by will(except what I otherwise
dispose of by this my will or any codical hereto) unto and to the use
of my said wife Agnes my brother-in-law William Wright Thomson and
my friend Maurice Powell of Palace Gardens Terrace Fensington in the
