my said wife and the said William Wright Thomson and Maurice Powell
Upon trust that they my said wife and the said William Wright Thom-
son and Maurice Powell or the survivors and survivor of them or the
executors or administrators of such survivor shall call in and con-
vert into money such parts thereof as shall not consist of money
And I declare that my said wife and the said William Wright Thomson
and Maurice Powell and the survivors and survivor of them and the
heirs executors and administrators respectively of such survivor
shall out of the moneys to arise from the sale of the said real estate
and from the calling in and conversion into money of such parts of
the said personal estate lastly hereinbefore bequeather as shall not
consist of money and out of the ready money of which I shall be pos-
sessed at my death pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts
and the ;egacies (other then specific legacies) bequeathed by this my
will or any codicil hereto And shall invest the residue of the same
moneys in any of the public stocks or funds Government securities
of the United Kingdom or India or in Stock of the Bank of England or
upon real securities in England or Wales but not in Ireland or in or
upon the bonds mortgages or debentures of any Corporation Company or
public body Municipal Commercial or otherwise in England or Wales or
any Railway Company in India duly authorized to borrow moneys or upon
the debenture guaranteed or preference stocks or shares or any such
Corporation Public body Railway or other Company as aforesaid upon
which a fixed or minimum interest or dividend shall be secured or
guaranteed by the same or any other Company but not in any other mode
of investment and may from time to time vary or transpose such stocks
funds shares and securities into or for others of any nature hereby
authorized at their his or her discretion and with and out of the
interest dividends and income of the said residuary moneys and of the
stocks funds shares and securities in or upon or unto which the same
or any part thereof may be invested or transferred shall pay to my
said wife and her assigns so long as she shall continue to be my widow
an annuity of One thousand five hundred pounds such annuity to be
considered as accruing from day to day and be paid by equal quarterly
