that we were Witnesses to the codicil of the will and
testament of John W. Gustine, that we each saw John
W. Gustine sign said Codicil, and the same was
Signed by said John W. Gustine in our presence
and in the presence of each other, and we were
requested to witness the signing of said Codicil by
said John W. Gustine said Codicil bearing date
Oct. 5th 1885, and that said Codicil was read over
to the said John W. Gustine in our presence and hear-
ing, and the same was by him, in our presence
and in the presence of each other declared to be a
Codicil to his last will and testament

I John w. Gustine of Carroll Carroll county, Iowa, being of sound
mind and memory, do hereby make this my Codicil to my
last Will and Testament, which will is now in the hands
of of Gainesville Florida.
I desire that Robert Craig, named in my said will
as an Executor shall not act as such, nor in any
Capacity whatever, in the settlement and control of my
Estate.
Witness my hand this 5th day of October 1885, done
at said Carroll Iowa, and I do hereby make and
publish this as a Codicil to my said Last-Will, in the
presence of witnesses who are such at my request
