Will of W.B. Lipsey
In the name of God Amen.
I William B. Lipsey of Archer, County of Alachua and
State of Florida, having arrived at the age of sixty years,
by occupation a Nursery man, and Fruit Grower, being of
a sound and disposing mind and memory a believer
in God, and in Christ Jesus, do hereby make, publish and
declare this instrument to be my Last Will and Testament
hereby revoking all other wills by me, at any time made
I give and Devise to my wife Hannah H. Lipsey my
dwelling house and lands where I now live, as follows;
The W 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 21, and the South 1/2
of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 16, all in
Township Eleven S. of Range Eighteen East, containing in
all about twenty-five acres to have and to be held and
enjoyed by her during her life and at her decease, I
give and devise the same to my three youngest children
namely R*** Hubert and Cora. I also devise to my
wife, all of my interest in all of her lands heretofore
deeded to her, for her own use and disposal.
I also bequeath unto her the one eighth interest (1/8) of all
my shares of Stock in the Quaker Orange Co; all money
that may be realized from Life Insurance, and all of
our household and Kitchen Furniture that may be in
the home at the time of my death.
I give and devise to my wife Hannah H. Lipsey and to
my son Lucian W. Lipsey, all of the lands and orange
groves that I own, lying on the East side of the Rail Road
near the town of Citra in the County of Marion with
one to have one half interest in the same jointly or
severally as they may agree.
I give and bequeath to my children the following
legacies, as is herein severally named, to my son Oliver
G. Three Thousand dollars ($3000.00)he having received
a Deed for ten acres of land, and is yet to receive
a deed for one and one-fourth (1 1/4) acres with a house
now being erected thereupon, upon these considerations
that his family comes and occupies it as a home
Deed and title to be given him by my wife, as per
agreement
To my daughter Rachel A. Four Thousand Dollars
($4000.00) She having received a Deed for a ten acre (gourd)(?)
grove
To my son Lucian W. Three Thousand dollars ($3000.00) |
