plea and the court having considered the same it is ordered that said
plea be and the same is overruled & is adjudged as insufficient and a bad
plea and now defense to the Bill. Further ordered that upon the defendants
paying all the costs of this proceeding that defendants be allowed until the
Rule day in Feby 1898 to file an answer or sufficient plea.

application of the petitioner Mrs M.E. Whetstone for an order approving the
findings of the Special Master made herein and for a final order and decree
herein and the petitioner having complied with the provisions of the statute
in such cases made and provided it is ordered adjudged and decreed
that the findings of the Special Master in this cause be and the same
are hereby approved, and the adoption of the said Pearl Nettles by the
said Mrs M.E. Whetstone be and the same is hereby authorized and
legalized and the said Pearl Nettles is hereby declared the child and heir
at law of the said Mrs M.E. Whetstone. Ordered and decreed at Chambers at Ocala
Fla on this 26th day of January AD 1898
