Writ of Error.

          The State of Florida to the Judge of the Circuit Court of the Fifth Judicial Circuit
of the State of Florida, Greeting.
 Because in the record and proceedings and also in the **ition of judgement in a certain
cause which is in our said Circuit Court before you between J. Cummer & Son for the
use of J. Cummer & Son Lumber Company as Plaintiffs and Fleming Meekins as defendant
manifest Error hath happened, as it is said, to the great damage of the said Fleming
Meekins as by his complaint appears, We willing that the Error, if any hath then
should be duly corrected and full and speedy Justice done to the parties aforesaid
in this behalf, do command you that if Judgment be therein rendered you
distinctly and openly send the record and proceedings aforesaid with all things
touching them, under your seal together with this writ, to our Supreme Court of the State
of Florida so that you have the same at Tallahassee on the First day of January
Term AD 1899 in our said Supreme Court to be then and there held, that inspecting
the record and proceedings aforesaid our said Supreme Court may cause
further to be done therein to correct that Error what of right and according
to law should be done

This cause came on to be heard and due service of the petition and notice
having been served upon counsel for the parties in interest and the Court
being advised in the premises thereupon upon consideration hereof - It is
ordered and adjudged that James McCredie G.M. Shuford H. Peterson
J.J. Barr E.P. Henderson J.H. Prates W.C. Johnson, J.A. Simonton J.D. Knox
Waterman Johnson Simon H. Benjamin and E.C. Chitty who are each free
holders registered voters and residents in the vicinity of the lands hereinafter
described be and are hereby appointed as Jurors to assess the damages
that may be done to Roberta C. Denton and to such other person or persons
as may be aggrieved by opening of a public road over and through their
lands to wit: situated in Alachua County Florida to wit: Beginning on
the county line between Alachua County and Marion County Florida
