                     Spring Term AD 1898
                     Monday May 16th 1898
to assess the damages in this cause and there came C.N. Merry, J.F.
Townsend B.J. Earle Geo B. Evans James T. Collins & T.M. Cauthen
who were duly empaneled and sworn to diligently inquire of damages
in this cause and a true assessment make according to the evidence
and the jury aforesaid after hearing the evidence and charge of
the Court retired to consider of their verdict and after due con-
sideration thereof they returned into Open Court and rendered the
following verdict, to wit: We the jury find for the Plaintiff and
assess the damages at Seven Hundred and fifteen 74/100 Dollars -
so say we all

Whereupon it is considered ordered and adjudged by the
Court that the Plaintiff, The Florida Fertilizer Manufacturing
Company do have and recover of and from the defendant
E. Leybourne the sum of Seven Hundred and Fifteen 74/100 Dollars
for its damages, together with its costs in this behalf expended
taxed at Thirteen 04/100 Dollars, and that execution do issue hereon.
And the Defendant in mercy &c

 Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow morning at
Nine O'clock

           The above styled causes having been set for trial
on the 18th & 19th days of May 1898, and it appearing to the presi-
ding judge to be necessary to have a special from which to select
a jury to try said cases the Sheriff of this County is commanded
to summon from the County at large twenty five persons qualified
to serve as jurors, from which to complete the panels for the trial of
said cases and the Clerk is directed to issue a Venire in accord-
ance with this order returnable at 9 O'clock AM on the 18th day
of May AD 1898. In open Court May 17th 1898. W.A. Hocker Judge
