vs }
The City of Gainesville } Order denying Rehearing
This cause is before on petition for a rehearing filed on
31st day of May 1898. The record shows that the order which defendant desires
to be reheard was filed on the 4th April AD 1898 & that on the 2d May AD 1898
a decree pro confesso was entered for want of plea or answer. The petition
for a rehearing was filed more than thirty days after the order was made
overruling the demurrer, and nearly a month after the decree pro confesso
was entered. It seems to me that under the circumstances I have no power
to grant this petition - It is therefore denied. Ocala Fla Augt 2d 1898
