defendant do operate as a supersedeas and stay of proceedings to the
said decree upon appellant filing a bond payable to appellee in said
cause with two good and sufficient obligators to be approved by the
Clerk of this Court in the sum of Three hundred (300) Dollars conditioned
to well and truly perform said final decree and to pay all costs and
damages that may be awarded said appellees if said decree be affirmed
in whole or in part or the appeal be dismissed

This the petition of Mary Ashburn Dromgoole by W. Ellery Davis
her next friend would very respectfully show unto your Honor that the said
Mary Ashburn Dromgoole is a resident of Alachua County Florida, where she
has resided nearly the whole of her life. That the said Mary Ashburn
Dromgoole is not yet twenty one (21) years of age but that she is over
Eighteen (18) years of age, of good moral character, industrious habits and has
received a fair common school education and of sufficient mental capacity for business
That the father and mother of the said Mary Ashburn Dromgoole died several years
ago leaving property to which the said Mary Ashburn Dromgoole is sole heir.
That the said Mary Ashburn Dromgoole feels that she is capable of managing and
controlling her property as well and as understandingly as she will ever
be able to do and that she is anxious and desirous of taking charge
of and managing her own affairs and property Just as though she
was twenty one (21) years of age = Whereupon your petitioner would
humbly pray Your Honor to appoint an Examiner or Master to make
inquiries and to examine the said Mary Ashburn Dromgoole as to
her competency to take charge of and manage her own estate and
affairs, and that Your Honor will remove the disabilities of non-age
from the said Mary Ashburn Dromgoole as is provided by law in
order that she may take charge of and manage her own estate contract
and be contracted with and to sue and be sued Just as though
she had arrived at the full age of twenty one (21) years and Your
petitioner will ever pray
