To all whom these presents shall come
greeting Know ye that I James Hague of the County
and State above mentioned for and in consideration of
the sum of Sixty dollars to me in hand paid the re-
ceipt whereof I hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and sell unto Swepson Whitehead of New-
nansville all that certain lot situated in the Town
of Newnansville designated on the Plat of the
Town as Lot No one Block No Two Range No One
together with all and singular the heriditaments
and appurtenances to the same in any wise apper-
taining or belonging, To have and to hold the said
lot and every part and parcel thereof unto the said
Swepson Whitehead his heirs and assigns forever
And I the said James Hague for myself my heirs and
assigns will forever warrant and defend the same
against the lawful claims of all persons claiming
or to claim by or through me July 15th 1851

Known all men by thse presents that I Sarah Hague
of the State and County above named and wife of James
Hague of said State and County for and in considera-
tion of Ten dollars to me in hand paid the receipt
whereof I hereby acknowledge do hereby renounce re-
lease and relinquish unto Swepson Whitehead
his heirs and assigns all my rights, title and right of
dower either at law or in equity in and to the Lot desig-
nated in the plat of the Town of Newnansville as Lot
No One Block No Two & Range No one together with
all appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining Witness my hand and seal this 15th day
of July AD 1851
