          Alachua County ) This indenture made and entered into
          this twenty third day of October One thousand eight hundred
          and fifty two; between Henry Stokes of the State and County
          aforesaid of the one part, and Mary White of the same
          State and County of the other part, Witnesseth that the said
          Henry Stokes for and in consideration of the sum of Six
          hundred and fifty dollars($650) to him in hand paid
          at and before the sealing and delivery of the presents
          the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained
          granted and conveyed, and do by these presents bargain
          grant sell and convey to said Mary White all that tract
          or parcel of land known in the plan of the Survey of
          U.S.A. as Section thirty five(35) Township Eight(8)
          S Range Eighteen E. it being the North East quarter of
          the North West quarter of said Section, containing in
          all One hundred and twenty seven acres, more or less.
          together with all the rights members and appurtenances
          thereto or in any wise belonging to the same, to have and
          to hold the said bargained premises unto to the said
          Mary White her heirs and assigns for her and their
          own proper use and benefit and behoof forever in fee simple.
            And the said Henry Stokes for himself his heirs
          executors and administrators will warrant and forever
          defend the rights and titles of the said bargined premises
          to the said Mary White her heirs executors and
          Administrators against all lawful claim or claims

            Know all men by these presents that I Mary Stokes the
          wife of Henry Stokes the grantor of the forgoing deed
          of conveyance of real Estate for and in consideration of the 
          premises in said deed recited and for and in consideration
          of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by Mary
          White the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged before the
          Sealing and deliver of these presents do renounce release
          and relinquish unto the said Mary White all my right
          claim or equity of dower in and to the premises by said deed
          conveyed, as fully and absolutely as I might or could do the same
          witness my hand and seal this 26th day of October A D 1852
