This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of April in the year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty two; between Elijah
Tucker of the County of Alachua and State of Florida of the first
part: and Samuel R. Johnson of said State and County of the second part
witnesseth: that the said Elijah Tucker for and in consideration of
the sum of Two thousand and fifty dollars to him in hand
paid by the said Samuel R. Johnson at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted, bargained, sold conveyed aliened remised released
and confirmed: and doth by these presents grant bargain, sell convey
alien, rermise, release and confirm unto the said Samuel R.
Johnson the following described tract or parcels of land, lying and
being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and described
on the Survey of the United States as follows, to wit, Lot Num-
ber Three of Section Twenty four, and Lot Number One of Section
Twenty Six, in Township Eight, South of Range Eighteen East,
containing One hundred and fifty acres, and Ninety eight hundreths
of an acre(Being the same land for which a Patent was issued
to the said Elijah Tucker on the tenth day of December in the year
One thousand eight hundred and fifty one.
with the appurtenances
To Have and to hold the same^unto the said Samuel R.
Johnson his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
And the said Elijah Tucker for himself and his heirs doth
hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Samuel R. Johnson
his heirs and assignes: that he the said Elijah is now the owner
of the said premises, and that he has full right and power to sell
and convey the same in fee simple absolute; that the said premises
are free and clear from all incumbrances; that the said Samuel R.
Johnson his heirs and assigns may forever hereafter, have, hold
occupy, possess, and enjoy the same without any suit molestationion
or interuption by any person lawfully claiming any right ******:
and that the said Elijah Tucker and all persons hereafter claim-
ing under him, will at any time hereafter at the request and expense
of the said Samuel R. Johnson his heirs and assigns make and
execute all such further assurances for the more effectual conveying
of the said premises with the appurtenances as may be reasonably
required by the said Samuel R. Johnson his heirs and assigns.
And the said Elijah Tucker his heirs and assigns will warrant
and defend the said premises with the appurtenances unto the
said Samuel R. Johnson his heirs and assigns forever.
In testimony whereof the said Elijah Tucker hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the day and year first above written
