Alachua County ) This indenture made the twelfth day of October
in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty one and in the
Twenty fifth year of the independence of the United States of America,
between Moses Elia Levy of St Johns County owners and Serfina Chauviteau
of Paris France & Joseph Devante mortgagees of one part and John White
of Alachua County of the other part- Witnesseth That the said Moses
Elia Levy for and in consideration of the sum eighty six dollars in
hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold
aliened, conveyed and confirmed,and by these presents doth grant bar-
gain, sell, alien, convey, and confirm unto the said John White
heirs and assigns all that peice or parcel of land contained in
fractionall Section No Thirty one Township ten Range twenty one
containing four hundred and seven acres and sixty hundredths as
surveyed by messrs Burr & Washington in what is called the Arredonda
Grant.
To have and to hold said land with all and singular
the rights, members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever, to the
said premises being belonging or in wise appertaining with the
remainder and remainders reversion and reversions; rents issues and
profits thereof, to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him
the said John White his heirs, executors and administrators and
assigns, in fee simple, and the said Moses E. Levy for his heirs
executors, and administrators, that do Covenant with the said John
White his heirs, excutors and administrtors, that he is lawfully seized
in fee of the afore granted premises; that they are free from all
encumbrances; that he has good right to sell and convey the same
to the said John White as aforesaid: and that he will and his
heirs, executors, and administrators shall warrant and defend the

same and every part thereof to^said John White heirs and assigns
forever against the lawful demand of all person, by virtue of these
presents.
