This Indenture made the first day of March in the year of our Lord
          Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three between George M. Payne
          George R. Fairbanks and William A. Forward Commissioners appointed
          by the Circuit Court of the Eastern Circuit of the State of Florida sitting
          as a Court of Chancery, by order and decree made and entered at
          the City of St Augustine in and for the County of St Johns in a
          certain case in partition depending in said Court wherein John H.
          Brush and others are complainants, and Moses E. Levy and others are
          defendants of the first part, and Henry G. Marquand of the City
          of New York of the second part, Witnesseth that whereas a sale
          at Public Auction of certain lands of the Arredonda Tract or grant
          advertised and held by the Commissioners appointed in said cause(in
          persuance of an order or decree of said Court, made and entered in
          said St Augustine on the thirteenth day of November AD 1848) at
          Micanopy in the said Arredonda Grant, on the 21st day of February
          AD 1849 the following described Lots or parcels of land lying and
          being in the County of Alachua & Marion in said State of Florida
          were struck off to, and bid in by Henry G. Marquand, he being the
          highest bidder therefore, to wit, Section No 15 in Township No 9 of
          Range No 18 containing Two hundred and seventy four 80/100 acres,
          Also Section No 22 in Township No 9 in Range 18 contg 273 44/100 acres
          Also Section Number 23 in Township No 9 in Range No 18 containing
          640 acres, & Section Number No 27 in Township no 9 in Range No 18 containing
          640 acres, Section No 2 in Township No 10 in Range 18 containing 640
          acres, Section No 3 in Township No 10 Range No 18 containing 265 76/100 acres
          Section No 10 in Township No 10 in Range 18 containing 262 50/100 acres, Section
          No 11 in Township No 10 in Range 18 containing 260 acres, also Section no 22
          in Township No 10 in Range 18 containing 257 acres Section No 26 in
          Township No 10 in Range 18 containing Two hundred and fifty five acres, all
          of which before seated lands are in the County of Alachua, also Section
          No 2 in Township No 12 in Range 19 containing 640 & Sect No 18 in
          Township No 12 in Range 19 containing 658 85/100 acres which last des-
          cribed lands are in the County of Marion and State aforesaid as laid
          down on the map of the said Arredonda Grant made on the 9th Feb
          ruary in the year of our Lord 1846 by Messrs Burr Washington and
          Merry Commissioners appointed by the said Court at the June Term
          of 1845 as by reference thereto will more fully appear.
               And whereas the said Commissioners reported the said sale
          to the said Court and the said Court by decree made and entered
                              A.D.
          on the 11th of August^1849 approved of the same and confirmed said
          report, and whereas the said Henry G. Marquand has faithfully
          and truly performed all the orders, terms, stipulations and conditions
          which were by order or decree of said Court on his part to be performed
          and whereas the said Court has directed the said parties of the first part
          Commissioners as aforesaid to execute to the said Henry G. Marquand
          this deed thereof and the said not having assigned and conveyed
          the same,      Now therefore Know ye that we the said parties
          of the first part by virtue of the authority invested in us as afore-
          said, and in consideration as aforesaid have granted, bargined
