                          Know all men by these presents that I, Willi-
          am B. Eubanks of the County and State aforesaid in consideration of
          the sum of Two thousand five hundred dollars, to me in hand paid
          by William A. Colclough of the State of South Carolina, Sumter
          District, hath granted bargained, sold and released, and do here-
          by grant bargain, sell and release and convey to the said
          William A Colclough all that certain Section of land, in the Arro-
          dondo Grant of Land, in the County and State aforesaid, which is
          known and designated on a map of said Grant made by
          Messrs Burr and Washington as Section Thirty one(31)
          in Township(9) of Range Twenty one(21) Containing Six hun-
          dred and thirty nine 40/100 acres, together with all and singular
          the rights, members heriditameants, and appartenances, thereto
          belonging, or in any wise incident or appertaining, to have and
          to hold all and and singular the premises unto the said Wil-
          liam A. Colclough his heirs and assigns forever, And the
          said William D. Eubanks for himself his heirs, executors and
          administrators does covenant rightfully and absolutely seiz-
          ed in fee simple of the above described Section of Land,
          and that the said William D. Eubanks does hereby grant
          and convey the said tract of land with its appurtenances
          unto the said William A. Colclough his heirs and assigns
          forever in manner aforesaid, and that he William D. Eubanks
          that he will at all times hereafter warrant and defend
          all and singular the premises and appurtenances unto the 
          said William A. Colclough his heirs and assigns free from
          all claim or claims of himself his heirs, and of all and every
          other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming the same.
            In Testimony whereof the said William D. Eubanks has hereunto
          set his hand and seal this Twenty second day of Febuary in
          Eighteen hundred and fifty three

                               I Daniel Lynn one of the Justices
          of the Quorum do hereby certify unto all whom it may concern
          that the wife of the within named William D. Eubanks did this
          day appear before me , and upon being privately and separately
          examined before me did declare that she did freely and volun-
          tarily without any complusion dread or fear, of any person
          or persons whomsoever, renounce, release and forever relin-
          quish unto the within named William A. Colclough his heirs
          and assigns all her interest and estate, and also all her
          right, and claim of dower of in and to all and singular
          the premises within mentioned and released, given
