they first- giving due norice to said Lewis & wife & by
publication for thirty days in some news paper of the time
and place of sale & out of the proceeds pay said decree if ever
rendered in behalf of the said Iemett & wife. In witness whereod
they have hereunto set their hands & seals the day and year

of the Court of Probate in and for said county which is a
Court of Record, and ex offisio clerk of said Court- this day
personally appeared the said John W. Lewis and Mary W.
Lewis his wife who are to me personally known and the
said John Lewis acknowledge that he had signed sealed
and delivered the forgoing deed to the said M.S. Perry &
John Lewis on the day and year therein mentioned, and
said Mary M. Lewis being by me privately examined seperate
and apart feom her said husband, acknowledged that she
had signed signed sealed and delivered the forgoing deed to
the said M.S. Perry and John Lewis on the day of its date
as her voluntary acknowledgement freely and without fear
threat or compulsion of her said husband
