          County of Alauchua)  Know all men by these presents that I James Pendarvis
                               for the County and State aforesaid for and in considera-
          tion of the sum of Two hundred dollars, to me in hand paid by Bennett M.
          Dell also of the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby ack-
          nowledge, do by these presence give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the
          said Bennett M. Dell, a certain tract of land situated in the County and
          State aforesaid, and described on the maps in the said office at Newnanville
          Fla as the NW quarter of the of the N West quarter of Section two(2)
          Range Eighteen(18) Township Eight(8) Containing fifty five acres(55)
          together with all the previlages and appurtenances to the said Land in
          any wise appertaining and belonging. To have and to hold the above granted prem-

          ises to the said Bennett M. Dell his heirs and assigns his and there^and behoof
          forever. And I the said James Pendarvis do covenant with the said Bennett M.
          Dell his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the aforesaid
          granted premises, that they are free from encumbances. That I have good
          right to sell and convey the same to the said Bennett M. Dell as aforesaid
                                                         heirs 
          and defend the same to the that I will and my^executors and Administra-
          tors shall warrant and defend the same to the said Bennett M. Dell his
          heirs and assigns forever

            Intestimony whereof I the said James Pendarvis have hereunto set my
          hand and seal, this the 26th day of May and in the year of our Lord one
          Thousand and eight hundred and fifty three

          County of Alauchua) Know all men by these presents that I Nancy Pendarvis
          wife of the aforesaid James Pendarvis Granted in the foregoing deed of conveyance
          of real Estate to Bennett M. Dell do hereby renounce, relinquish and release
          all my right of dower in and to the land &c in said conveyance unto Bennett
          M. Dell granted in consideration of one dollar to me in hand paid by the
          said Bennett M. Dell the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
          In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 26th May
          A.D. 1853 and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
          fifty three

          County of Alauchua) Be it rememered that on the 26th of May A.D. 1853
                              personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of
          the Peace in and for the County of Alauchua Nancy Pendarvis wife of the
          aforesaid James Pendarvis who being duly by me examined privately and apart
          from her said husband, the said there and then acknowledged that she had
          signed sealed and delivered the foregoing renounciation, relinquishment and
          release of Dower and that she had done so freely, voluntarily and
          without any compulsion, constraint and apprehension or fear of or
          from her said husband and she wished not to retract it
