Warrantee Deed
This Indenture made the thirtieth day of May in the year one thousand
Eight hundred and fifty three Between Frederich Marquand & Hetty Marquand
his wife of New York party of the first part and Edward L. King of
Alachua County Florida of the second part. Witnesseth that the said
party of the first part in consideration of the sum of nine hundred &
forty dollars to them duly paid before the delivery hereof hath bargained
and sold, and by these presents do grant and convey to the said party
of the second part, his heirs and assign forever, all those certain peices
and parcels of land situated in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and described as follows to wit Section Nineteen and in Township
nineteen ten & Range Nineteen Twenty one containing Six hundrd & thirty
nine 84/100 acres more or less being part and parcel of the lands purchased
& Township containing 640 acres more or less also Section Number Eight
of the same Township & Range containing Six hundred and thirty nine
84/100 acres more or less being part & parcel of the lands purchased
by the said Fredrick Marquand at the sale of the Arredondo Grant
by Payne, Child & Forward Commissioners Febuary 1849
With the appurtenances, and all the estate, title and interest, of the said
part of the first part therein and the said part is of the first part
do hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second
part that at the time of the delivery hereof the said parties of first
part as the lawful owner of the premises above granted, and Seized thereof
in fee simple absolute, and that they will warrant and defend the
above granted premises in the quiet peaceable possesion of the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns, for ever.
In Witness whereby the said parties of the first part, have hereunto set
their hand and seals the day and years above written.

Personally appeared before me Fredrick Marquand and
Geo R. Fairbanks his Attorny to me well known and acknowledged that he
had granted the foregoing Conveyance June 2nd 1853

I Hetty Marquand by Geo R. Fairbanks her Attorney do hereby ack-
nowledge that I have executed the foregoing conveyance and do hereby
renounce all right and claim of dower in and to the premises therein described
and declare that I renounce the same freely and voluntarily and without
any fear or compulsion of her said husband Frederick Marquand.
