This Indenture made on the Seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord
One thousand and Eight hundred and fifty three between James M. Stewart of the
Town of Newnansville in the State of Florida of the first part and Solomon
F. Halliday of the same place of the second part Witnesseth: that the said
James M. Stewart for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred
dollars to him in hand paid by said Solomon F. Halliday at and
before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknow-
ledged and he thereby acquits and forever descharged the said Solomon F.
Halliday his heirs Executors administrators and assigns by these presents have
granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by
these presents do grant, bargain sell and confirm unto the said Solomon
F. Halliday and to his heirs and assigns all that parcel or piece of Lot of
ground known on the platt of said Town of Newnansville a lot No two
in Block No three of Range No two Together with all and singular
the houses and outhouses, buildings, rights b****** priviledges and appurtenances
thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions, remainders
rents issues and profits thereof and also all of the estate right title in-
terest property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said James M.
Stewart in law or equity or other wise however of in to or out of the same
To have and to hold the said Lot of one half acre of land more or
less and the promise hereby granted or intended so to be with the apper-
tenances unto the said Solomon F. Halliday his heirs and assigns forever
and I the said James M. Stewart of the first part in this indenture
against any heirs and assigns and against all other persons will warrant
and forever defend the same by these presents
