County of St.Johns         Circuit Court Clerks Office;
      One this Twelfth day of February AD Eighteen hundred
and Fifty two, George R. Fairbanks to me well Known, personally
appeared before me, and acknowledged that he executed the
foregoing deed of Frederick Marquand; And I herby certify
that I Know the Said George R. Fairbanks who made the
acknowledgment to be the Individual Who as said attorney

     Know all men by these presents, that we David L. Yulee and Nannie
C. Yulee, of the State of Florida for and in consideration of the Sum
of One Thousand Dollars, the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged
have bargained, Sold, aliened and transfered, and do by thes pre-
sents bargain, Sell, alien assign and transfer, Unto John B.
Standley, of Alachua co. in Same state, the following described
tract and parcel of land, to Wit- three hundred and Seventy
five acres of Land, More or less, lying in the County of Alachua
in and near the San Felasco Hammock, being the Same tract
of Land which was partitioned and allotted to the Said
David L. Yulee by the Circuit Court in Chancery Setting in 
St. Johns County in the Case of Joseph Lawton and others
vs. Joseph J. Sanchez, S.D. Fernandez, And others according to
the Decree Made and Entered by Said Court on the 28th day of
June AD 1850 at St. Augustine-and Which Decree Confirmed
the partition made by Bennett M. Dell, Thomas J. Prevatt and
George Watson, Commissioners appointed for the purpose; Which
Said three hundred and seventy five Acres was part of a
tract of Six Thousand Acres Known as the Fernandez Grant
and is one have the interest purchased by said David L. Yulee
in the year 1839 from S.D. Fernandez (the other half having been
sold by said Yulee to A.H. Cole)
     To have and to hold the Said above mentioned and
described tract of three hundred and Seventy five acres
more or less, together with all the right title interest
dower or right of Dower of the Said David L. Yulee and
Nannie C. Yulee or Either of them in and to the Same 
and its appurtenances, to him the Said John B. Standley
