in and to the premises. To have and to hold the same with the appurtenances
unto the said Edward R. Power his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
and I the said George M. Galpin for myself and my heirs, executors and
administrators do hereby covenant, grant, and agree to and with the said
Edward R. Power that I am now the owner of the said premises, and that
I am seized of a good indefeasible estate of inheritance therein, and that I
have full right and power to sell and convey the same in fee simple ab-
solute; that the said premises are free and clear of all incumbrances that the
said Edward R. Power, and his heirs and his assigns may forever hereafter
have hold occupy, possess and enjoy, by any person whatever lawfully
claiming any right therein: and that I the said George M. Galpin and
all persons hereafter claiming under me will at any time hereafter, at the
request and expense of the said Edward R. Power his heirs or assigns make
all such further and other assurances for the more effectual conveying of the
said premises, with the appurtenances, as may be required by him or them
and that I the said George M. Galpin will and my heirs, executors and ad-
ministrations, shall warrant and forever defend to the said Edward R. Power
his heirs and assigns the right and title to the premises hereby granted and
conveyed against the claim of all persons whatsoever. In witness whereof
I the said George M. Galpin have hereunto set my hand and seal this Second
day of July Eighteen hundred and fifty three.

  Kown all men by these presents that Hannah E. Galpin, the wife of
George M. Galpin the grantor of the foregoing deed, for and in consideration
of the premises in said deed recited,and in further consideration of the sum of
Five dollars to me in hand paid by Edward R. Power at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents, do hereby renounce, release, relinquish
and forever quit claim unto the said Edward R. Power and to his heirs and assigns
all my right, claim, and Equity of Dower in and to the premises by said deed
conveyed as fully and absolutely as I might or could do the same. Witness
my hand and seal this 2nd day of July A.D. 1853

Alachua County   } Personally appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace
                 } in and for said County Mrs. Hannah E. Galpin to me well
known to be the person who executed the above relinquishment of Dower and
she being by me examined separate and apart from her husband declares that she
had executed the same freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion
constraint, apprehension, or fear of or from her said husband witness, my hand
and seal this 2nd Day of July AD 1853
