Chatham County ) Be it remembered that on this Twenty fifth Day of July
One thousand Eight hundred and fifty three before me
Edward G. Wilson a Commissioner within and for the State of Georgia
appointed by the Govenor of the State of Florida to administer oaths or
affirmations and to take depositions and affidavits to be used in said State
of Florida and to take proof and Acknowledgements of Deeds or other in-
struments to be used or recorded therein " personally appeared William G.
Foote to me personally well known to be the individual described in and
who executed the annexed (or foregoing) Conveyance as the Attorney in fact
of Mary E. Foote and acknowledged to me that he had executed the same
for the uses and purposes therein mentioned

Know all men by these presents That I or Mary E. Foote of the City of
Brooklyn, County of Kings, and State of New York have made constituted
and appointed, and by these presents do make constitute and appoint William
G. Foote of the City of Savannah, Georgia my true and Lawful Attorney for
me and in my name place and stead to enter into and take possession of
all such lands, tenements, hereditaments and real estate whatever in the
State of Florida as are now held and owned by me, or in which I am or
may be, in any way entitled, or interested: And to grant bargain and sell
the same or any part or parcel thereof for such sum or price and or such
terms as to him shall sew meet: and for me and in my name to make ex-
cute, acknowledge, and deliver, good and sufficient Deeds and Conveyances for
the same with or with out covenants and warranty and to ask demand and recover
and receive all sums of money which shall become due and owing to me by
means of such bargain and sale: and to take all Lawful ways and means
for the recovery thereof giving and granting unto my said Attorney full
power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing
whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises
as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or could do if personaly
present with full power of subsitution and revocation, hereby satis-
fying and confirming all that my said Attorney or his substitute
shall Lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof
