          Alachua County   )  This Indenture, made the Nineteenth Day of 
                           )  August in the year One thousand Eight
          hundred and fifty three between Gilford Sikes of the first part and
          William Dell of the second part both of the County and State above
          mentioned  Witnesseth: That Gilford Sikes of the first part for and
          in consideration of two hundred and fifty Dollars, in hand paid to him
          by William Dell of the second part at and before the Sealing and de=
          livery of these presents, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
          has granted, bargained and conveyed and by these presents does grant 
          bargain and convey to William Dell party of the second part and his 
          heirs and assigns a certain piece or parcel of Land lying and being in the
          County of Alachua and State aforesaid and known and described
          by Surveys of the United States of as the North West quarter of Section Ten
          Township Nine, Range Eighteen Together with all and singular other
          the outhouses, Dwelling houses, buildings barn and all apputenances
          and priviledges and hereditenances, belonging and appurtaining thereto in
          anywise whatsoever: To have and to hold the said messuage or tenement
          and piece or parcel of Land hereditaments and premises hereby granted
          or intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said William Dell
          party of the second part his heirs and assigns and to his and their
          only proper use an behoof forever. And the said Gilford Sikes party
          of the first part Doth covenant and agree to and with the said William
          Dell party of the second his heirs and assigns that he the said
          William Dell party of the second part and his heirs the said above
          mentioned and described  Messuge and Tenements and tract of land
          hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended
          so to be with the appurtenances unto the said William Dell party
          of the second part his heirs and assigns against him the said
          Gilford Sikes party of the first part and his heirs and assigns and
          against all and every person and persons whatsoever lawfully claim-
          ing or to claim by from or under him their or any of them shall
