          Alachua County  ) Know all men by these precents that I Margret
                          ) W. Paisly for and in consideration of the sum of
          of Fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by Elizabeth Paisly of the
          County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
          have granted bargained and sold unto the said Elizabeth Paisly
          a certain Negro girl slave named Letty aged thirteen years to have
          and to hold the said Negro slave to the said Elizabeth Paisly
          for and during the natural life of the said Elizabeth Paisly
          and no longer. And provided and it is expressly understood
          that upon the decease of the said Elizabeth Paisly it shall be the
          duty of the heirs Administrators or Legal representatives of the said
          Elizabeth Paisly to return and deliver the said Negro slave
          to the said Margrett W. Paisly her heirs or Assigns
          signed  sealed and delivered

          This Indenture, Made the Third Day of Feburary in the year one Thous-
          and Eight hundred and fifty three Between William Bloodgood and
          Thomas Tilston of the City of New york of the first part and Jonathan
          Turner of Alachua County Florida of the second part, Withnesseth
          that the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of
          Nine hundred and Fifty eight 37/100 Dollars to them duly paid before
          the Delivery hereof, have bargained and sold, and by these presents, do grant
          and convey to the said party of the second part and to her heirs and
          assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
          being in the County of Alachua State of Florida being part and parcel
          of the Arrodondo grant and described and designated on the map of the
          said grant made by Burr and Washington Commissioners in 1846 as
          Section thirty of Township No Nine of Range Nineteen of said grant
          containing Six Hundred and Thirty Seven 60/100 acres more or less being part
          and parcel of certain lands purchased by the said parties of the first part
          at the public sale of the Arredondo grant in Febuary 1849 with the
          appurtenances and all the estate, title and interest of the said parties of
          the first part therein and the said parties of the first part do hereby
          covenant and agree with the said party of the second part that at
          the time of the delivery thereof, the said parties of the first part are
