This Indenture made this fifth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & fifty Two between
Saml Russell & Mary Caroline Russell of the County of Alachua and
State aforesaid of the first part and W.W. Scott of Said County & State
of the Second part, Wittnesseth;
That the said parties of the first part for and in
Consideration of the sum of Twenty five Dollars to us in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold
and by these presents doth bargain & sell unto the said party of
the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, all that
Certain Lot of Land Situate lying and being in the Town of
Newnansville County of Alachua and State aforesaid and designated
on plat of said Town as Lot Number Six(6) Block No one (1)
of Range No 2 (2) containing one half acre more or less
Together with all and singular the hereditaments and
appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining;
and the reversion & reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues
& proffits thereof, and also all Estate, right, Title, interest, claim
or demand whatsoever of them the said Parties of the first, either
in law or equity: of in and to the above bargined premises
and every part and parcel thereof
To have and to Hold unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper use benefit
and behoof, of said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever

County of Alachua ) Personally appeared before me Thos J. Prevatt a Justice
of the Peace in and for said County Saml Russell & Mary Caroline Russell
his wife to me well known and said Saml Russell acknowledged to me
that he had executed the foregoin Deed for the purposes therein expressed
on this day and year mentioned & the said Mary Caroline Russell his
wife by me seperstely examined seperate and apart from her said
her said husband Saml Russell acknowledged that she executed the foregoing
instrument of writing for the purpose therein expressed and relinquished
all her Dower or right of Dower in or to same without
any fear threat or compulsion of or from her said husband
