Alauchua County  } This Indenture made this first day of May
                 } in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight
hundred and fifty three between Moses E. Levy owner of St. Augus
tine St Johns County Florida owner and Serafina alias Maria
Serafina Chauviteau of Paris France and Joseph De Levante
of London England Mortgages of the one part and Washington
W. Geiger of Alauchua County Florida of the other part wit=
nesseth that the said Moses E. Levy for and in Consideration
of the Sum of Eighty Nine Dollars and thirty seven cents to me
in hand paid by the Said Washington W. Geiger the receipt
whereof is hereby Acknowledged have bargained sold released
granted and conveyed and by these presents Do bargain
Sell release grant and convey unto the said Washington
W. Geiger all that certain tract or parcel of Land Situate
in the County and State aforesaid Known as the South half of the
east part of Fractional Section Number Twenty three (23) Township
eleven Range Twenty in the Arredondo Grant as surveyed by
Burr and Washington containing seventy one and a half
acres, be the Same more or less bounded on the west by the other
part of said fractional Section number Twenty three on the east
by fractional section number Twenty four (24) Township Eleven
range twenty on the North by Lands owned by the said Washington
W. Geiger and on the south by Section twenty six Township Eleven
Range twenty Together with all and singular the rights members
hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises before men=
tioned unto the said Washington W. Geiger his heirs and assigns
forever and the said parties of the first part hereby bind
themselves their heirs, Executors and administrators to warrant
and forever Defend all and Singular the above granted prem=
ises unto the said Washington W. Geiger his heirs and assigns
against themselves their heirs and against every person whom-
soever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part
thereof. In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set there hands and affixed their seals the Day
