This Indenture made the fifth day of August in the year one thousand eight
hundred and fifty three between Aron Peck and Mariay Peck wife of said
Aron and to Edward L. King of Alachua County Florida of the second
witnesseth that the said part of the first part in consideration of the sum of
two hundred dollars to duly paid before the delivery hereof have bargained
and sold and by these presents do he grant and convey to the said party of
of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or
parcel of land situated in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
being part and parcel of the Aradonda grant so called and known
and described as section number ten and Township 10 in Range number
twenty one containing six hundred and forty acres more or less with the
appurtenances and all the estate title and interest of the said part of the first
therein and the said partys of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree
with the said party of the second part that at the time of the delivery hereof
the said parties of the first part are the lawful owners of the said premises
above granted and seized thereof in fee simple absolute and that the will
warrant and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable
possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever

Eighteen hundred and fifty three before me John J. Plumas a
Commissioner in and for said State of New Jersey appointed by the Govenor
of the State of Florida to take the proof and acknowledgements of deed
or other writings and an*sed to be used or recorded in said State of Florida
duly commissioned and sworned Personaly appeared Aron Peck and
and Marinda his wife both known to me as the grantors in the within
deeds named and who have executed the same and they severally acknow-
ledge that they signed sealed and delivered the same as their act and
for the purposes therein expressed, and this said Marinda Peck
wife of said Aron Peck on a private examination by me separated and
apart from her said husband and having been informed by me |
