This Indenture, made the twenty fifth day of March A.D. eighteen
hundred and fifty three, between David Mizell of Alachua County, State of
Florida, party of the first part, and Charles A.M. Mitchel, Special Master of the
Estate of Peter Mitchel deceased, party of the second part, Witnesseth, that
the said party of the first, in consideration of the sum of five hundred
& twelve dollars, to him in hand duly paid, hath sold, and by these presents, doth
grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns, all the following discribed property, to wit, Section twenty four, Township
Eleven, Range twenty one in the Aredondo grant, with the appurtenances,
& all the Estate, title and interest of the said party of the first part, therein, this
grant and conveyance are intended as security for the purchase money
agreed to be paid for said land, none remaining unpaid & due, amoun
amounting to the sum of five hundred and twelve dollars, which is
agreed shall be paid as follows, to wit, two hundred and fifty six dollars
and the twenty fifth day of March 1854, and two hundred and fifty
six dollars on the twenty fifth day of March 1855, with legal interest
from dates untill paid which payments if duly made will render this
conveyence null and void, otherwise the same shall remain in full force
and effect. Tn Witness whereof the said party of the first part
hath hereunto set his hand and seal, the day & year first above

I do hereby certify that on the day of the date hereof, personally
appeared before me Jack B. Smith a Justice of the peace, in and for
the County of Alachua, State of Florida, at the Town of Micanopy
within my jurisdiction, Benjn A. Putnam one of the subscribing
witnesses to the forgoing Deed, and being duly sworn, says that David
Mizell signed the and sealed said deed in his presence, and in the
presence of Joshua Mizell, and Nancy A. Mizell, the other
subscribing witnesses, and delivered the same as his act and deed for
the purposes therein mentioned.
