Second part, his heirs and assigns, all the following described property
to wit, west half Section Sixteen, Township Ten, Range nineteen of the
Aredondo grant: Alachua County, State of Florida, with the appurtenances
& all the Estate, title and interest of the said party of the first part
therein, This grant & conveyence, are intended as a security for the
purchase money agree to be paid for the said land, now remaining unpaid
& due, amounting to the sum of two hundred dollars, which is agreed shall
be paid as follows, to wit, one hundred dollars the twenty fifth of
March 1854, and one hundred dollars on twenty fifth of March
1855; with legal interest from dates until paid, which payment
if duly made, will render this conveyence null and void, otherwise the
same shall remain in full force and effect. In Witness, whereof the

This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of March in the
year one thousand Eight hundred & fifty three, Between James T.
Thomas of Alachua County, of the first part, and Charles A.M.
Mitchel, Special Master of Estate of Peter Mitchel, of the second
