          City and County of New York  To Wit
           
                             On this 16th day of March A D 1852
          before me the undersigned a Commissioner appointed by the
          Governor of said State of Florida by letters patent under the great
          Seal of said State to administer oaths and take proof 
          acknowledgement of Deeds and other instruments under seal of
          said State, to be used and recorded in Florida in and for the
          State of NEW YORK, and as such, duly commissioned & sworn and
          dwelling in this city of New York personally appeared William
          T.S. Ryer to me personally known who being by me first duly
          Sworn saith that he resides in the city of New York that he
          knows William W. Wells and Cynthia W. Ryer the undersigned
          Subscribed and who executed the forgoing conveyance that said
          William and Cynthia W. Ryer Severally execute the same
          in his presence & that he set his name as a subscribing witness
          thereto which is to me satiafactory evidence of the due execution
          of said conveyance(note and Florida three lines were erased herein)
