THIS INDENTURE made the third day of December in the year one
thousand eight hundred and fifty three, Between John B Denton of
Alachua County Florida, of the first part, and C.A.M. Mitchel
Special Master, of the Estate of Peter Mitchel of the second part,
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum
of thirteen hundred and Five 66/100 dollars to him duly paid, hath sold, and
by thes presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part
Master as aforesaid, all the following described lands, situate in the County
of Alachua, State of Florida, to wit, Section No. Nine of Township No. ten
of Range nineteen, of the Arredondo Grant containing 640 acres, with
with the appurtenances, and all the Estate, title, and interest of the said
party of the first part, therein. This grant is intended is intended as a
security for the purchase money agreed to be paid for the land now remaining
due and amounting to the the sum of thirteen hundred and five 66/100
dollars, which it is agreed shall be paid as follows, Six hundred and fifty
three 33/100 dollars, on the 25th day of March next, with interest from the
25th March 1853, and the further sum of six hundred and fifty three
33/100 dollars, on the 25th day of March, 1855, with interest from the
25th March 1853. Which payments if duly made, will render this convey-
ance void.
In Witness whereof, the said party of the first part, has hereunto
set his hand and seal, the day and year first above written.

the Circuit Court, of Alachua Co. Florida Geo R. Fairbanks one of the

being duly Sworn, says^John B Denton signed and sealed said mortgage
in his presence, and the presence of Elizebeth Denton and Henry C. Denton
the other Subscribing witness, and delivered the same as his act and deed
for the purposes therein mentioned

This Indenture made the third day of December, in the year

first part in consideration of the sum of eight hundred and thirty
two 71/100 dollars, to him duly paid, has sold, and by these presents
doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part, the following
described property, parcel of land, to wit, Section Number ten, of
Range Number Nineteen and Township No Ten of Arredondo
Grant containing six hundred and forty acres with the appurtenances
and all the Estate, title, and interest of the said party of the first part,

For and in Consideration of the full payment of the sum of money secured to be paid by
this mortgage paid to me on or about December 16th 1853 and endorsed on the back of said
original mortgage. I hereby make this cancellation and discharge of this mortgage on this
