State of Florida } This Indenture made this the twentieth (20), day
Columbia County } of December in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and fifty three, (1853) Between Charles F. Fitchett of
Alachua County in Said State, of the first part, and John W. Low of
the County and State first aforesaid of the Second part, Witnesseth,
that the Said Charles for & in consideration of five hundred dollars to
him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted,
bargained, & by these presents, doth grant, bargain & sell unto him
the Said John W. Low, all the following described property, to wit,
three & a half lots, tracts, or parcels of land Situated, lying and
being in the Town of Newnansville, in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida, known in the plan of said Town as Lots Numbers
Seven & Eight (7 & 8) and half of lot Number one (1) and all of lot
Number two except about fifty feet of the North East side of said
lot Number two, on which George L. Brown's Store now Stands, in
Block Number one, Range Number one, also one Waggon and
Harness, and two Horses, one blind Sorrel, & one bay Horse,
Also one Buggy and Harness, To have and to hold the Said bargained
bargained and Sold
and Sold Town lots, as also the said^personally property, together with all and
Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof; or thereunto belonging,
and the Said Charles Shall and will warrant and forever defend the Said
bargained & Sold lands, Houses, & lots, together with all and Singular the
appurtenances thereof, together with all the Said personaly property,
against himself, his heirs, Executors, Administrators, & assigns and
him the Said John W. Lowe, his heirs Executors, Administrators & Assigns
forever in fee simple
