Know all men by these presents that I Peter Sparkman of Alachua
          County and State of Florida, in consideration of the sum of two hundred
                                               the County
          dollars paid to me by John Sparkman of^Alachua County and
          State of Florida, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby
          give, grant bargain, sell, and convey unto the said John Sp
          Sparkman, his heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land
          with the buildings thereon, and all the privileges and appurtenances to
          the same belonging, Situated in said County, and bounded described
          as follows, to wit, Section No. 9 containing Six hundred and forty acres,
          and twenty hundredths of an acre, in Range 21 and in Township 9,
          in the Arredondo Grant, and also the South East Quarter, and the
          South West Quarter, and the North West Quarter, of Section 16 in
          Township 9 and Range 21 in the Arredondo grant, to have and
          to hold the above granted premises to the said John Sparkman, his
          heirs and assigns, to his, and their use and behoof forever and I
          the said Peter Sparkman, for my self, and my heirs, Executors, and 
          Administrators, covenant with said John Sparkman, his heirs
          and assigns, that I am lawfully seized in fee Simple of the foregranted
          premises, that they are free from all incumberances, that I have good
          right to sell and convey the same to the said John Sparkman, his
          heirs, and assigns forever, as aforsaid, and that I will and my heirs,
          Executors, and Administrators, Shall warrant and defend the same that
          the said John Sparkman, his heir and assigns forever, against the
          lawful claims and demand of all persons.  In Witness whereof,
          I the said Peter Sparkman have hereunto set my hand and seal
          this 30th day of December A.D. 1853.

          Alachua County   ) Know all men by these presents that I Mary C.
          Sparkman wife of the within named Peter Sparkman, for and in consid
          consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by
          the within named John Sparkman do hereby relinquish and renounce
          all my Dower, and right and title to Dower, in and to the premises
          mentioned in the written Indenture, to the said John Sparkman, and
          I do hereby acknowledge that said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower
          is made freely and voluntarly and without any compulsion , constraint,
          apprehension or fear of from the within named Peter Sparkman
          my said Husband, taken and acknowledged by the said Mary C.
          Sparkman seperate and apart from her said Husband, this 30th
          day of December A.D. 1853.                        her
