peace in and for said County, Ruth Ann Burnett to me
well known to be the person who executed the above relinquish=
=ment of Dower, and She being by me examined Seperately and apart
from her Husband, declared that she had executed the same freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension,
or fear of, or from her said husband.

Deed of Conveyance for the purposes therein mentioned.

Alachua County   }
                 Know all men by these presents, that we
James T. Thomas, and Elizabeth Thomas his wife both of
the County of Alachua and State of Florida have this day
for and in consideration of the Sum of thirty one hundred
dollars to us in hand paid by James B. Bailey of the Same
County and State aforesaid, bargained, granted, Sold
demised & delivered unto the Said James B. Bailey, and his
heirs forever, the following described lands, to wit, Section
twenty nine, and Section thirty, Township Nine, Range twenty
Section four Township ten, Range twenty the South half
of Section five, Township ten, Range twenty, fractional section
eight, Township Ten, Range twenty, in all about twenty five hundred
and fifty nine acres more or less, being Situate in the County aforesaid,
the Said James B. Bailey, his heirs and assigns, to have and to hold
all and Singular the above mentioned described lands and the appur=
=tenancies thereto belonging, to his own proper use and benefit for
ever, and the Said James T. Thomas, and Elizabeth Thomas his
wife, and their heirs the Said lands and premises, in the quiet
and peaceable possession of the Said James B. Bailey his heirs and
assigns, against the Said James T. Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas
his wife their heirs, and against all and every person or persons
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the Same, Shall
and will warrant and by these presents for ever defend
         In Witness Whereof, we have hereunto set our
hands and affixed our Seals, this nineteenth day of February
A.D. 1853.
