County of Alachua } This Indenture made on the twenty fourth day of
June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty
three, Between Reuben S. Stoughton, of the first part, and Dr. Elias
Bauknight of the Second part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration
of the Sum of nine hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before
the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
the Said party of the first part, hath bargained, Sold, given, granted
and conveyed unto the Said party of the Second part, all that certain
Town lot or parcel of land Situate in the Town of Micanopy, known
and described as follows, to wit, Beginning at the North Eastern Corner
of the lot now own by G.W. Means, and running due East ninety
feet to the public Square, from thence due South along the public
Square one hundred and five feet, and terminating on the public Square,
where the Street running from Newnansville now enters Said Square, from
thence due West along the Newnansville Street ninety feet to the South
Eastern Corner of the lot now own by G.W. Means, and from thence along
the Southern boundry of said lot, to the North Eastern Corner of the same,

the distance of one hundred and five feet. And the Said party of the second
